http://www.littleredumbrella.com/2012/01/lets-be-clear-ron-paul-fucking-sucks.htmlEvery single one of the candidates currently running for the Republican nomination is a walking disaster. But one of them, Texas congressman Ron Paul, seems to be getting a disturbing amount of support from liberals. Mostly that's because his nut-job libertarian views happen to not sound so nutty on a handful of issues.
But if you're a liberal who supports Ron Paul, you either haven't been paying enough attention or you're out of your fucking mind.
Here are 20 reasons why:

(1,673 posts)Which candidate running (democrat or republican or ?) represents liberal views?
And please don't knee jerk for Obama, as what he says verses what he does are light years apart.
Thanks.
I personally think it is none of any of the candidates - and voting for the lesser of evils continues the decay.
There has to be a way of being represented but I haven't found it.
I won't even waste my time voting for Micky Mouse.

(41,832 posts)I just want to be clear that you are stating you are not voting for Obama.

(1,673 posts)None.
Voting for Micky Mouse implies a protest vote where none of the candidates represent liberal interests.
To be precise, What I implied by not even casting my vote for Micky Mouse is that it no longer matters who I (or we) vote for.
The sElection process is a forgone conclusion based on Corporate MONEY - advertising, marketing and media message saturation, and election fraud.
There is no choice.
Therefore, I will no longer vote until there is a candidate that swears on a stack of Bibles (hardie har har) that he/she will not take accept ANY corporate / lobbyist, or PAC money, neither directly nor indirectly.
Period.
With all due respect to global warming, a cold day in hell is thus pending.

(18,628 posts)and it's not the kind of America I want to live in, but almost every comment by Paul represents that position.
The only thing appealing to anyone on the left is his foreign policy, and that's not enough for me with complete social breadown at home hanging in the balance. In a Ron Paul America, only the financially strong can survive.

(124 posts)He's a right-wing isolationist. His solution if one nation were to invade another or start committing genocide would be "friendship" and trading with nations which have a history of human rights abuses.
Ron Paul is as wrong as wrong gets.
