1. I swear to God those Red Hat ladies are everywhere.

I saw a bunch of them in a casino in the U.P in Michigan about a month ago,they were having a rip roaring time.They are legion.

a few summers back--all of us ladies who lived on the houseboats along the Mississippi. I no longer live there but went to a few meet-ups this summer. had a blast.



Last fall--my sisters and I went to northern WI for a few days--and found a Red Hat society in a small town. They are everywhere

6. What are the requirements for joining? Do you have to be

a certain age? Didn't they form based on the lines in a poem?

8. No requirements. I really do not know much

about the History of the red hats society. But ours was local-started out as a way to go boating the Mississippi. I realize there are Queens etc--it is National but we stayed local. General rule if over 50 you wore a red hat and if under 50 years you wore pink or lavender. We did wear our hats to go out to eat or to local events. It was great.
