Well. DU is in good company:
Former Vice President Dick Cheney took aim at Hillary Clinton and the email scandal that she is embroiled in and threw his support behind the current second-in-command, Joe Biden.
The former vice president encouraged Biden to run for president during an interview with Portlands KEX radio, but declined to give their opinions on the 2016 GOP field, saying they would endorse the eventual nominee.
I like Joe. I think Joes a good man, I think he ought to run for president," he said. "I think the Democrats need more candidates. Im hoping Joe will get in the race.
Cheney also attacked Clinton, comparing her emailing practices -- using a private server to conduct government business -- to his own. Clinton has maintained that she didn't do anything illegal and that she did not handle classified information via the private server.

When Cheney agrees with you...it is time to stop and assess.

(13,069 posts)I am equating the constant Clinton attacks on the fake email scandal with Cheney's very same language.

(2,992 posts)Yet it IS a problem, because it hurts concerns about transparency in politics.
The lefties who are raising questions about it deserve ZERO comparisons with Rovian, Cheney' s far right intimidations tactics.

(13,069 posts)Your distortions are monumental. Anything and everything she does is attacked. The transparency argument is made-up BS.

(2,992 posts)And no. Not everything she does is attacked. Is she attacked about her outsanding lifelong dedication regarding womens right worldwide? No!
Plus would be she as attcked as you think, she would not have maybe runned again. And she would not act as if she was ALREADY the nominee. She would have the " position of strengh" she has not the huge networks she benefits in media and political world.

(12,655 posts)but this is a clear attempt to stop bernie and keep the power in the 1%. the evil one sees the writing on the wall. hillary is heading down, bernie is heading up. no way in hell a gop clown is gonna win a ge. omalley is progressive like bernie and also a threat to them. they want biden in to be a hedge against a bernie or omalley victory. he would be better for the ruling class.
go back to wyoming and wait for your war crimes trial, you pathetic monster and stfu

(13,069 posts)People seem to believe what they hear on TV. It has nothing to do with Bernie...except for those supporters who attack Clinton, just like Cheney, for the fake scandal.

(12,655 posts)but the green froth spewing sob is still trying to control the process and put the candidate he wants and he thinks would be most favorable to his interests. hrc, om and bs are not friendly to his interests. biden is least of the worst from his perspective.

(1,238 posts)As Paul Begala described them on CNN yesterday. Two truly evil people who the country would be better off without. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cheney family was behind most of the terrible stuff that happened while Bush was in the WH, as horrible as Bush was, I don't get the same evil vibe I get from the Cheney family, selfish and entitled perhaps, but not in the dark way the Cheney's are.
