Politics Done Right: Touching dialogue with my friend’s frustration with the country’s race dynamics

Facebook is a platform where many feel free to release their most innermost prejudices. It causes many who would rather avoid conflict to pullback or sometimes go into a shell.

I love the social media platform because of the relative freedom it presents. I love that one can be as public or as anonymous as one wants to be. That reality leaves a lot of room for those who can stomach the incivility, to instead reengage the uncivil without reciprocating the incivility, the attacks. Many times that dialogue can plant seeds not only in the person one is engaging but in those who are watching the discussion.

I had one of those discussions in a thread earlier this week on race dynamics that I want to explore with you.
