Asians (Latinos, Blacks, Women, LGBT, Millenials, etc.) Will Win This Election!

Why doesn't Sanders reach out to Asians (Latinos, Blacks, Women, LGBT, Millenials, etc.)?

Doesn't he care about them?

What I think is that Sanders understands that in a country where 1% of the people own 50% of the money, the only way that you can reliably have something like a horse race in every election cycle, a close to 50/50 split, is to continually split people apart from their most basic interests by using dividing tactics.

I think Sanders realizes that no matter what your color or identity is, the first order of business is to get food on the table, a roof over the head, and then moving on from there...

So when some people ask "why has he not reached out to this group or this group, the ansewr is that he is reaching out to everyone but not playing into the false narrative of dividing people up as if they do not share enough common interests.

Some will read this OP and no doubt figure out a way to add some kind of spin... "Oh, so WOMEN don't have special interests?" "Oh so POC don't have problems that go beyond your white privileged ass?" Yes, yes, they do. Of course they do. Do they need to be addressed? Yes, yes.

But tackling problems is one thing and professionally managing how you appear to reach out to groups is a different thing. And yes, it is playing into divisions. Quite the opposite of Obama's famous "There is only ONE America" moment.

To those who will spin my OP, go on. It will NOT surprise me in the least. Have at it.

To those who understand what I am trying to say, thank you.

Pretending to care about something by giving ritual attention to words, phrases and optics is NOT the same thing as BEING that person. One is a sham, performance art.

Sanders has never been that and it is that difference that sets him apart and makes people see something different in him. Something real and genuine and bullshit-free.
