1. Dang. We almost made 4k.

But still, we're already past our monthly goal by a good chunk, and solidly in third place on the 'collecting for Bernie' page at ActBlue. Daily Kos's link is way out ahead, but we're catching up to the #2 group, whoever they are behind their generic group name. We're doing better on climbing each month, where some of the other groups simply seem to have been one-shots.

3. We probably did make $4K A number of people posted that they donated, but used the link of

the campaign, not Omaha Steve's DU Act Blue link. My guess is that even more did the same, but did not bother to post to tell me about it.


ETA: The campaign has the advantage of being able to email each DU donor. Omaha Steve can't. It's much easier to hit the link in their inbox and donate than it is to come to DU, find Omaha Steve's link and click. And some just act without reflecting first.

8. The first donation I made a few months ago was directly via the campaign then I found out about

the Act Blue link for DU and felt bad about it. This time I got it right and used that one. I hope regardless was can make the $18,000 goal before the end of the year. Only $1,109 left to go.

13. The goal automatically grows each time you get near it.

We'll likely pass the 18k mark by month's end, unless everyone blew their monthly wad on the birthday moneybomb

16. I know people made one time September donations before the money bomb. Maybe they will also donate

after it. Also, I don't know when the monthlies kick in. I hope they all have not kicked in on September 1?

18. Monthlies repeat on the day of the month when they sign up

Only two donations for the $ bomb were monthlies out of 106 donations.

Sign up on the 10th, and they will come out on the 10th. We have several monthlies that will kick in before the first.

So far we have collected $2,156.00 in recurring pledges. Pledges for the next year total $6,858.00.

We had several first time donors for the $ bomb. A few set up monthlies.

To date only one donation was cancelled since we started May first.
