Down ticket Candidates in the 2016 election.. something all of us need to think about

We all should agree by now, we have good candidates...


One thing to add to the many things we have to consider during this primary/caucus season for the next President is who will help the down ticket candidates also..


As someone who works locally during elections calling.. walking the neighborhoods.. putting up signs on willing neighbors yards.. a big consideration is all the people who depend on the top of the ticket to help boost them along.

It is city, county,state, federal..

Martin O'Malley has worked his proverbial butt off helping others in the party during the last election cycle.. I really appreciate that..

And we all should consider if our choices are working not only the top of the ticket but setting the tone for the entire ticket ..

Just something else to ponder on..

1. We can elect the top of the ticket, but if we do not change the Senate and House, nothing will get

done.

The President can not pass legislation, can not change tax policy by a penny, can not create programs to rebuild infrastructure, can not do anything that requires the passage of a bill.

I would like to se every supporter of Sanders, Clinton, O'Malley, or any of our other candidates post their thoughts on who should be their US Congressman, State Senator, Governor, State House Member.


The bottom of the ticket is the foundation upon which we build and farm team from which we choose future candidates.

2. Yes it is..

We have to get a much deeper bench than just the Executive.. because there is only so much anyone can do by executive action.

And I wish I had thought of using the farm team equation .. because you are exactly right..
