2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI've been trying to post comments on ABC's interview of Clinton to no avail
I've been trying for two days to get a comment posted on ABC's page showing the tape of the CLinton interview.

They won't let any of my comments, which include excerpts of articles mentioned in my post to this forum (below), with no untoward language, appear. Clearly, they don't want to let comments which might enlighten readers on the Clinton Faux Scandal to appear on the page showing the interview video.
ABC grills HRC about emails. IF pers emails so important why didn't anybody investigate Colin Powell?

(6,091 posts)anything the republicans want them to apologize for. Notice that Republicans apologize for noting ever and the media never ask them to. I've been thinking about this all day and it makes me sick. Why did she apologize???? She did nothing wrong especially to the American people. If anything she has been a great advocate to the people and now being made to apologize by the f@#$%&* media. Uggggggggg!

(6,436 posts)observation! I totally agree with you, SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE APOLOGIZED. SHE DID NOTHING WRONG.
It goes to show how effective the McCarthyist campaign is. --- Especially, when you have a M$M who grovels before the Fascists of America and eagerly jumps to show what good pets they make!

Please, people, put comments on M$M news sites - with the question: IF use of personal email account is so important - why hasn't anybody (like M$M) asked Powell about his use of personal email account? Should we trust a guy who told us Hussein had WMD???

(11,417 posts)I wanted you to hear this directly from me:
Yes, I should have used two email addresses, one for personal matters and one for my work at the State Department. Not doing so was a mistake. I'm sorry about it, and I take full responsibility.
It's important for you to know a few key facts. My use of a personal email account was aboveboard and allowed under the State Department's rules. Everyone I communicated with in government was aware of it. And nothing I ever sent or received was marked classified at the time.
As this process proceeds, I want to be as transparent as possible. That's why I've provided all of my work emails to the government to be released to the public, and why I'll be testifying in public in front of the Benghazi Committee later next month.
I know this is a complex story. I could have -- and should have -- done a better job answering questions earlier. I'm grateful for your support, and I'm not taking anything for granted.
I understand that you may have more questions, and I am going to work to keep answering them. If you want to read more, including my emails themselves, please go here:

Thank you,
Hillary
Nothing Hillary says will appease her detractors. This "scandal" is useful to those apposing her campaign for President. As long as there are opponents the email stories will be repeated over and over. Of all the candidate Hillary is the most qualified to be President in my opinion, yet we care more about non issues than we do about the qualifications of our next President.
