And the irony is that the hatred of Sanders supporters is really up close and personal, perpetrated against people we have interacted with for years, decades even.

Furthermore, it is not hate against a single distant political figure. It is hatred against thousands and tens of thousands of people.

Now THAT is hatred that should be looked at in my opinion.

9. It is easier than talking about policy.

Honestly, we do have a few idiots amongst those that support Sanders. Really annoying sorts that refuse to argue effectively or discuss things reasonably. But that is true of all groups supporting all candidates. There are statistically a lot more Sanders supporters on DU so, we will end up with a larger share of the idiots.

But honestly, fixating on the trolls really doesn't solve anything.

The jury system isn't perfect and I have suggested things about it on that other list, but honestly it is pretty good. We do a fairly ok job of policing our own.

That said, I am getting tired of "support for x" threads, whether or not it is people I happen to agree with.
