A Simple Truth. Its not the advisors, its the candidate.

Recent days, I have read a lot of threads on HRC reinvention.

She needs to be herself. She needs to listen less to others. She needs to be spontaneous. She needs to use fewer advisors.

The Simple Truth is the problems in her candidacy are not with the advisors. Some come from past public choices she has made and a politics based on triangulation rather than authenticity. She has problems with secrecy and public honesty. Her claim/story of being under sniper fire although trivial as a lie is representative of a politics that is not grounded in truth but only on what sounds good at the time. These are problems with her as a candidate.

And to be fair and accurate, not all the problems are with HRC herself. She has her strengths as well. However her candidacy separated from her has its own problems. With Jeb running, having HRC run seems a lot like the only thing that matters is nepotism. Some of her current problems relate to an anti-establishment electorate, a frivolous media, and years of exaggerated GOP scandal attacks.

This was all predictable. Ultimately, her candidacy has problems that will not go away no matter what she does. Her advisors are not the problem. They are looking for ways to paper over the problems with her candidacy and such efforts have not worked so far.

Its not the advisors, its the candidate.

from her circle. I don't think arguing or having a difference of opinion with Hillary goes over very well.
