Bob Burnett: Why Has Hillary Faltered?

Why Has Hillary Faltered?

1. Donald Trump's candidacy has hurt Hillary.

2. The relentless news about the Clinton State Department emails has damaged Hillary.

3. Bernie Sanders' campaign strategy has worked better than Hillary's.

4. Bernie Sanders wants to rein in Wall Street; Hillary Clinton doesn't.

5. Hillary is not "press friendly."

Hillary Clinton's decline in the polls means her nomination is no longer a sure thing. To recover, Clinton should immediately address her campaign issues; she needs to: boost her favorability ratings; provide easier access to the press; and encourage more debates with Bernie Sanders and the other Democratic contenders.

3. She has not faltered people now have a CHOICE and they don't choose Hillary

She had a big lead because no one else was running. Now that the people have choices they are making a choice that reflects what they support.

Everyone knows the 1% has made their choice they have already voted with their millions to her, the problem is the 99% get a say and many do not want her as the nomoniee. So her numbers drop

If they are dropping this fast already how fast will they drop when the majority of voters start paying attention to the election?

1 Senator Sanders is a far superior candidate in every way, shape, and form.

but maybe just against the scandals.

I think she is surprised by two challengers, Trump and Bernie. The others are falling into her idea of who would be running.

O'Malley is the ernest, young challenger who has a great future but isn't quite ready and the GOP contenders are going to slug it out for the most repressive candidate all the way to the bottom.

Trump and Bernie are a surprise and hard to challenge as they are not falling into the easy to label category of supporters.

Without debates and questions, she can't fend off any attack besides using surrogates nor answer to anything.

It would be nice to have him as the unchallenged front runner.
