Ok. What About Lawrence Lessig: The "Referendum President" Candidate?

Apparently he's in. Number 6. Numero Seis.
Harvard Law Professor.
His "hack": he'll resign presidency as soon as congress changes the campaign finance system.
He says only this approach... not for instance just electing an anti-organized bribery candidate like Sanders.... can impact the situation.
Read. Click the links. Good link to a detailed interview w. Cenk Yugar ( sp?).

What is one to think?

1. He would deliver the primary to Cinton & the corrupt system involves much more than campaign finance

So not only no, but HELL no.

Trump and Lessig are tools used to ensure our corrupt system, which works for the benefit of the 1%, continues.

....I want to hear what other people think.

Apparently he expects to be included in the debates.

Good ideas. But the WRONG YEAR since we already have, for the FIRST TIME, a serious candidate that has made this issue priority #1.

3. He is trying to bring attention to the corruptness of the system.

I don't think he will significantly impact the outcome of the primary, except that if he gets on the debate stage (either actual debate or the ongoing one in the media), he could bring more attention to some issues where Bernie is going to be stronger than Hillary.

I don't think Bernie supporters should react negatively to this, because Lessig can amplify issues where their candidate is strong. When people realize they want a "real" candidate rather than a "gimmick" candidate, then they notice that Bernie supports 97% or better of Lessig's platform, who are they going to turn to? Bernie, of course.

So I really don't get the animosity from some Bernie supporters. This guy is going to help your candidate in the long run. Unless it turns out that Bernie isn't really real on Lessig's issues. But then Hillary really isn't either.

4. They want to use him to siphon votes from Bernie and to attack Bernie.

I've already heard some of his comments. I'd have to have a lobotomy to agree with your analysis.

Lessig's a smart cookie (better than Hedges) but has the same handicap of talking in academese and assuming the facts are "in evidence"
