GVHLive: Democratic Millennials Want More Debates

Ben Doernberg, the organizer of the “Allow Debate” rally, said that DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s decision to limit the candidates and punish them if they participate in unsanctioned events is undemocratic.

Millennials were dissatisfied with Chairwoman Wasserman Schultz’s refusal to budge on this issue, believing it was in an effort to retain Hilary Clinton’s lead for the Democratic nomination. O’Malley himself has called the debate schedule “rigged” and has said, “Is this how the Democratic Party selects its nominee?”
