One positive thing I hope we can all agree on

My guess is no matter who is nominated I feel we are going to have a woman on the ticket. Maybe VP won't feel as satisfying to some but still it stands to reason Bernie would would ask a woman to run with him. Obviously Clinton would occupy her position as Prez if she wins. I am a little less confident Biden would do so but I would see it being wise to get a woman on the ticket for a variety of reasons. Given the notion a dem will be favored in the general we will likely have a female Prez or Vice Prez. I certainly hope so. I would love a Sanders Warren ticket. What a new day that would be.

I likewise would just love a Sanders/Warren ticket.

If Hillary is the nominee, whoever her VP choice is, it won't be another woman. Which is NOT intended as a slam to Hillary, just an observation.

But either configuration gives us a woman on the ticket.

having had a very prominent woman as the front runner all this time might satisfy the party's female "requirement," leaving him free to choose a male running mate. After all, a woman would have been seriously considered at great length for the top spot in this scenario.

Not exactly the same as the GOP's problem. They had to yank a token woman into prominence so they wouldn't have the visual of a line of 10 men on the stage, all conspicuously criticizing the only real female candidate -- a Democrat.

BTW, I just read Fiorina has "backed away" from her call to shut down the government over Planned Parenthood. Apparently her opportunistic, and profoundly irresponsible, sleaze won't work now that Boehner has restacked the cards.
