An interesting view of the job market.

I have a route to visit a friend that passes around O'hara Airport. I have been taking that route for several years.. In the last year or so, I have been looking for help wanted signs. Job openings at the manufacturing companies that sorround the west side of the
airport. Occasionally there have been 2 or at the most 3 openings. and those close up within a few days. Last week, I noticed seven help wanted signs, ranging from truck driver to assembler to stock person ...etc. And these were open longer than before. They are still open as of last Monday.

Seven is the most that I have ever seen. I sure hope this increase in help wanted signs really means something. If it does, and it holds, then Obama is in.

because I think Romney is a prime example of what happened to jobs in this country. He is not the solution -- he is part of the problem.

Glad to know that companies are hiring.

That the hole story of a "Bad" job market that the media tries to proclaim is a lie.... Everywhere i go i see Now Hiring signs posted in parking lots. This past year ive seen alot of my friends on FB going to job interviews or being hired. I dont understand how the economy is so called "bad" because every time i drive to a walmart or any other store the parking lots are FULL and there is no where to park.

There does seem to be an uptick in the number of listings, and more manufacturing positions, too.

I'm in Western Washington state.

There have been big surges in Boeing, Pizza Hut, etc the past few weeks.

It at least gives me hope.

We hve hope but we have truth on our side. If the economy is better, and people see that, this will help us.
If there is hiring, and more people have some money, they may buy somethings that will in turn help more.
