Anyone else notice we seem to have become Opposition Research Underground?

Some recent threads featured lovely things like:

"OMG!! Jane Sanders worked at a college!! And it was in financial trouble!!"

"OMG!! Jane Sanders had a government job!! Did Bernie get her the plum $5k/year job?!!"

"OMG!! Sanders was paid his Congressional salary for years!! Where did he spend his money?!?!"

As well as variations on old smears that didn't stick well enough the previous times.

Can we at least get a free lunch for being your focus groups?

It's probably a good idea to hold your protests at the outrage until she actually is mentioned.

After all, there is more than one political party...

Bernie is a good man but there is no comparison to the life Hillary has lead. Hillary has been around the world as a global citizen and a force for good. Whether making China squirm 20 years ago while advocating for women's rights to their governments faces in China, to fighting AIDS in Africa, to organizing massive fundraisers to fund research, advocating women's and children's rights on foreign soil, etc. Bernie cast some votes in congress.

both for ideas and to see responses and to see what has legs.

but i guess it goes both ways, and that's the way the marketplace of ideas (or at least the internet) works

You must be thinking of Bernie Sanders. He's the "free stuff" candidate.
