Bernie Sanders Makes Political History With Over a Million Contributions

This morning, just a short time ago, Bernie Sanders’ campaign staff stopped into Reddit to make an important announcement. They instructed that the campaign of the Vermont Senator had hit the one million mark in regards to individual contributions, shattering the old mark set in 2008.

Of course this is uncharted territory for any candidate since it’s never been done before, No campaign has reached this level of individual contributions this early in a campaign. This should send a powerful message to those that wish to just hand the Presidency to Clinton. The message is that the people of America might have something to say about that. #EnoughIsEnough

Just curious, is the one-million-mark highest in the "at this point in the primary campaign" sense, or
over-all, for the complete primary campaign cycle. In other words, was the record set in 2008, one
that counted the entire primary cycle, or how many donors there were on Sept. 30, 2008?
