It's called PUBLIC life for a reason, Mitt

In response to a questioner asking Mitt why he will not release his taxes, he used Ted Kennedy's response as an excuse:

"No, I value my privacy." And I think he was right, and I was wrong. As a result, I do share his view on this.

This liberal Democrat thinks you BOTH are/were wrong. As a public figure, certain aspects of your life are meant to be examined by the populace. No, I don't expect to see the taxes, or even salary, of certain celebrities; they don't make decisions that affect my finances. Yet a politician that has direct influence on how my tax dollars are spent and whether I should or should not get a tax increase owes me the courtesy, no DECENCY, to show me why I should trust this person's judgment in regard to these decisions.

There is a reason that swing voters disagree with you:

One issue that's dogged Romney is the release of his tax returns. He's insisted the two years he's released is plenty, however a majority of voters in all three states disagree with him. Just over 50 percent in each state say a candidate should release several years of tax returns while just under 20 percent in all three say one or two years of returns will suffice.

The majority of these individuals appreciate that "taking your word for it" is insufficient reason to trust you. And now that we have recently discovered that you lied about your taxes already, this number should go up.

I don't understand why they want so badly to be a part of an entity - government - that they hate so much.

like Grover Norquist they want to destroy our government. They dream of some paradise were the law and taxes do not apply to them and they can take advantage of everyone else.
