How many days before the Hillary Clinton camp moves on from Bernie/Guns/Massacre to...

something else?

There was a post today practically blaming Bernie Sanders for yesterday's tragedy. It was posted in the 12 o'clock hour (Pacific). It was a Hillary Supporter taking barely more than 24 hours before exploiting Thursday's tragedy for political gain. I've seen more than a few posts in the same vane since.

When do you think Hillary Clinton Supporters will either get a new meme, or out of desperation... try something else? Bernie's choice of shoes? Choice of razors? Choice of creme rinse for goodness' sake?

1. This will be a featured question in the debates.

The media won't move on, and until they do, neither will the American public. There are funerals ahead, there are people in hospital, and Americans are sick of this shit.

2. Not to mention a number of Clinton opportunists... trying to somehow tie Bernie Sanders to this.

Surely you've seen the posts. "Doubles down" and "The last thing Bernie Sanders needs right now..."

Did Rahm send out marching orders?

5. Uh.....there's going to be a GOP debate hosted by CNBC at the end of the month, too.

This is going to be an issue at Democratic AND Republican debates. American voters ARE engaged about this issue. Every damn time this happens, there are stories of sadness, loss, horror, courage, pain, etc...and people are tired of the whole "lather, rinse, repeat" nature of it all.

This isn't about "gotcha" but Sanders needs to calibrate his POV with the party platform if he wants votes from those voters. He's not running for President of VT and NH. He is running for the Presidency under a party banner that has had enough of this shit.

If he has a different strategy he can go on and keep doing what he is doing. It'll cost him Democratic votes, though.

What's with the "Rahm?" He came down with Obama in 08, even served as his COS before going back home and getting the mayor gig off POTUS's coattails--he's not running Clinton's campaign. Why would he send out "marching orders?" He has a city to run.

That is just a jive comment, apropos of absolutely nothing. Sounds good to anyone not paying attention, though, I suppose.

You were probably stewing about my OP and my responses to you all day.

You really need to get over it. Nobody is blaming Bernie Sanders for what happened in Oregon, but people are scrutinizing his record when it comes to guns. This is the Democratic primary season and Bernie is going to have to defend his own record like everyone else.

You, however, did blame Hillary for what happened in Benghazi like a good little foot soldier.

Except on a couple of points, Sanders has basically the same position as Clinton and most other proponents of gun control.

Other than a few delusional people I don't know anyone who thinks Bernie is a gun nut.

His positions are fine with me.

Americans will support limited gun control measures but they won't support bans or lawsuits against gun manufacturers. Find common ground or continue to lose on the issue.

and the link you did not provide to "practically blaming Bernie Sanders for yesterday's tragedy" which is here http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251641698 did no such thing as you say. Seriously, the first sentence is this "With every mass shooting, Bernie's gun control record is going to be scrutinized. There will be many more shootings between now and election day. These questions aren't going away. "
Second sentence is this "President Obama passionately pleaded for stricter gun laws in the aftermath of yet another mass shooting Thursday. Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and others renewed their calls for stricter gun control measures. "
To say you have thin skin would be a compliment. Jeeze.

that Clinton voted for that allowed her friend George Bush to invade Iraq, resulting in the deaths of up to a million innocent people. But corporations made big profits from that war, so for some, that's justification.
