Yahoo! does it again!

Someone should create a website that tracks Yahoo! headlines - I'm guessing overwhelmingly they would either be anti-Obama or biased in some way.

Today's latest gem:

Romney's popularity stays low, but Obama's barely better

Reading that headline, you'd assume Obama is polling maybe one-point better than Romney in terms of popularity.

Uh...

OBAMA - Obama, for his part, is seen more positively than negatively among all adults, 53-43 percent favorable-unfavorable, but slips to nearly an even split, 49-47 percent, among registered voters. That's still better than Romney's 42-50 percent among registered voters, but less sharply so.

Obama is 49-47 among registered voters, which is +2, Romney is 42-50, which is -8. Overall, that is a margin of +10 in Obama's favor.

How is that barely better? Ten points better is vastly better.

I am so tired of the media, especially Yahoo!, spinning what are obviously negative Romney stories into negative Obama stories as well. They're so hard up for a horse race that they have to twist the facts in the headline.

Enough of this shit.

5. As has been pointed out many time here and elsewhere - the media needs a "close" race

The media is not about news They are about selling advertising that brings profits to their corporate masters.

They need a close race to sell papers or drive clicks onto their websites. Just like they needed a ginned up controversy over Gabby's hair and her lack of patriotism by not wearing something more "in your face" with a US flag motif although her uniform is the standard one issued to her by the USOC.

Because nothing says I'm patriotic like polyester t-shirts made in China purchased at Wal-Mart stretched over the folds of obsequious fat at Tea Bagger rallies.

I'd get rid of my Yahoo! account completely if my stepdaughter hadn't used it to establish her account.

are really needed, I happened to write a negative to this article when I noticed the extremely large amount of Republicans who posted in support. I didnt believe it would change minds, but thought of the less informed voter seeing nothing but support, maybe would influence them. It would be sensational if once and awhile we all jumped in.
