http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-10-01/hillary-clinton-spent-nearly-90-percent-of-funds-raised-in-3qShe shelled out approximately $9 of every $10 she raised in the latest quarter, according to preliminary figures...Hillary Clinton may have a burn rate problem.
The Democratic front-runner's presidential campaign spent about $25 million of the $28 million it raised in the third quarter of 2015, according to preliminary figures released by spokesman Josh Schwerin. Clinton expanded staffing in early primary states, and began spending money on television ads to try to solidify her position in the race against challenger Bernie Sanders.
While Clinton spent approximately $9 of every $10 she raised in the latest quarter, she has still built up a sizable war chest. According to Schwerin, Clinton has more than $32 million cash on hand, much of that remaining from the total $75 million the candidate has raised since entering the race in April. Larry Biddle, Howard Dean's former finance director, attributed Clinton's burn rate to staffing.
I think Hillary is stacking her expenses on staffing, Biddle said. She's getting those higher-dollar folks that she needs to have for protection.

SO, WHAT IS SHE GETTING FOR ALL THAT MONEY? A BUNCH OF HAS-BEENS? OR RECYCLED ROVIANS? IF THE DEMOCRATS HAVE ANY "EXPERTS", THEY'VE BEEN KEEPING THEM UNDER WRAPS FOR YEARS.

(23,664 posts)I think she's getting played for a sucker by a bunch of hucksters who tell her what she wants to hear in exchange for some hefty fees. And IMO it's because of her basic insecurity and constant need for validation.
When the tap runs dry the sycophants will disappear.

(45,851 posts)(CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama has asked top contributors to help former rival Sen. Hillary Clinton retire the debt from her failed presidential campaign, an Obama campaign source said.
Obama and Clinton ran a protracted race for the Democratic presidential nomination that left Clinton with a campaign debt of more than $22 million when she bowed out this month.
About $12 million of that amount is money the senator from New York loaned to the campaign herself.
Obama asked members of his National Finance Committee to contribute to Clinton's campaign if they were so inclined, but he did not direct them to do so, the Obama campaign source said Tuesday.

(9,497 posts)As one of his supporters to chip on and help pay it off. I thought those "18 million cracks " should chip in 2 dollars each and do it themselves.

(40,656 posts)Good god. I could pay off my house in a small bite of that money for one month. What a stupid process this is. Last time she spent a fortune on flowers and hotels. She should have learned and it will be harder since her donors being richer are tapped out. Expect a lot of vitriolic PACs to come to her rescue if this continues. She won't be able to fund any other way.

(22,871 posts)Clinton paid off the last of her debt in 2013 with Obama donors voluntarily paying $158,000 of it. Her campaign ended with 13 million in debt,12 million of her own money.
"A federal law known as the Hatch Act prohibited Clinton and other federal government employees from personally soliciting or accepting political contributions. The law does allow others to raise funds on Clinton's behalf, without her direct involvement. Former President Bill Clinton periodically sent out fundraising appeals to his wife's campaign email list to help retire her debt."
Campaign debt is hardly rare.

(22,871 posts)donors to contribute. The 20 million that CNN quotes was wrong, she came out of the election with a 13 million debt. Anyone who contributed the maximum to her campaign could not contribute to paying off her debt by law, that's why Obama asked his big contributors to help if they were so inclined,no where does that "prove" that "Obama paid off her debt",the claim is ridiculous.

(62,325 posts)dramatic drop in the polls.
But is it any wonder when she aligns herself with the likes of unethical people like David Brock and when many of those 'pundits' who support her, NOW but who like Brock HATED her in the past, they are an absolute reflection of HER. They say to people 'you don't need to have any core values'.
The worst of the worst of what that money can buy.

(17,064 posts)Then it's no stretch of the imagination that she's bought off. Somebodies are supplying all that money...they're gonna want a return on that investment.
