WOW!
-----------------------------
In the new poll, 59% of black voters say they back Clinton, 27% say Biden and just 4% for Sanders. Among white voters, Sanders has the edge, 44% to 31% for Clinton and 22% for Biden. Without Biden in the race, it's a near-even split among whites, 48% Clinton to 47% Sanders, while blacks break 84% to Clinton and just 7% would back Sanders.

(25,699 posts)However a big conclusion is being reached by Cali_Democrat based on this unknown number.
All we can be certain of with these numbers is that at least 25 African Americans are included in the 301 democrats.
Scootaloo
(25,699 posts)from article, Hillary total is 49%, 59% of AA, 31% of white. Bernie 18%, 44%, 4$, Biden 24%, 27%, 22%. With 65% AA, 35% white (not exactly correct, since not really 100% of voters), each candidates total voters are basically equal to their computed AA + white.

(30,481 posts)conservatives? Just playing. I know you have. It just doesn't sound as good as his supporters thought it did when placed in context of what it really means. You really don't think their are posts here with over fifty recs about how he resonates with conservatives. You live on this site. You have seen them. Bet you have even reced a couple. lol.

(30,481 posts)Please don't tell me you actually haven't seen post after post about how his message resonates with conservatives. I simply wouldn't believe you if you said you hadn't seen them. I can actually see that happening thought. lol.

(30,481 posts)He resonates with conservatives. Let me inform them on something, neither Clinton or O'Malley resonates with white conservatives.
Bluenorthwest
(45,319 posts)and that was perfectly acceptable to basically all of his supporters. The surrogate who called us vampires and child killers was one of the worst.
Dig this, those who hate gay people are conservatives. Obama pandered hot and hard for the votes of religious conservatives in SC. Just a fact.
This double standard thing makes me sick.
NCTraveler
(30,481 posts)Wasn't even remotely acceptable to me.
"Obama pandered hot and hard for the votes of religious conservatives in SC. Just a fact. "
I'm trying to figure out what you are saying. We seem to agree completely that this is a bad idea. My very short initial post was about his supporters bragging about how his message resonates with white conservatives and they should be brought into the fold.
"This double standard thing makes me sick. "
Please show me my double standard that is making you sick. Maybe I am reading you wrong. You are very consistent on your well thought out posts so I am pretty sure I am reading you wrong.

(45,319 posts)Obama held rallies with ant gay, 'ex gay' evangelists one of whom called LGBT people vampires and child killers. Bill Clinton spoke of Jesse Jackson and fairy tales to seek those votes.
Good stuff.
NCTraveler
(30,481 posts)Though I do view the "fairy tale" comment different than most. You point still stands as there were other things along these same line I view as worse that came from our party during that time.
Bluenorthwest
(45,319 posts)their conservatism last round, Obama more than any and he won because of it. My point is that voters who need to hear hate preaching to respond are not examples I wish to follow. They are conservative religious Christians. Bernie is a Jew who likes LGBT people. Not so sure it is a groovy thing those voters are not considering him.
Let's just be honest about the place.

most people do even realize it is primary time until the debates start, i worry more about the paperless voting system in sc than early numbers
