Pharrell Williams: "It's Hillary time in 2016".

Singer Pharrell Williams said on Monday that he plans to vote for Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton next year.

“I just feel like it is Hillary time,” the "Happy" performer said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show." "It’s time for a woman to be in there.”

“Women think about things in a holistic way,” Williams said. "It’s not so individual."

“[It is] not that I don’t love our current president,” he added of President Obama. “If we had someone looking after our country as a whole, I just feel like it would be different.”

Williams argued that he is endorsing Clinton’s White House run because she has a "serious tone."

One of the biggest forces in hip hop of the last 20 years who has produced everything and everybody, has his own fashion line, and then had one of the most prolific songs of the last decade last year with "Happy" endorses Hillary, and it's "who?"

This seems entirely appropriate for this thread. Video of Congressman John Lewis dancing to "Happy"

I rarely ever get involved in things of this nature.

Christina Aguilera gets under my skin almost as much as Kim Kardashian does though. I couldn't help myself. I'll try harder next time.

Whats funny is, Hillary's camp probably thinks that's the route to appealing to "young voters"-- blissfully unaware that to the folks hitting voting age now, Christina Aguilera is "like, somebody's mom"

But, I'm depressed to see a dud like Mrs. Clinton ascend to the Presidency. We've got thousands of people in America more qualified.
The same could have been said for George Bush or any of the Republican candidates.
Obviously, our election system isn't working well.
