PA DU’ers Go to http://www.VotesPA.com and check that you are registered to vote. The state is

playing games with the names on IDs. If the name on your driver’s license does not agree precisely with your name on the local polling place voter ID, you may be scrubbed from voting rolls or turned away at the poll.
Example: a friend of ours has a driver’s ID that has “Jane Mary Smith” But her local polling place data base has her name as Jane Smith and she has been scrubbed. She voted there every year for 30 years. She found out by logging on to VotesPA.com.

Here is another example:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/10/voter-id-pennsylvania_n_1764436.html?utm_hp_ref=politics

Go to http://www.VotesPA.com and when the page comes up where it says Register to Vote, click on "Confirm your Registration". Enter the county, your first name and last name and date of birth and it will tell you if you are registered and where to vote. There is no way to enter a middle name or initial and it looks like that is still a problem (example in the article of Mr. Spahr).
It looks like the only way to know for sure is to go to the county courthouse and verify it.

Another slick thing they did: They sent letters to some people telling them they had a problem but didn’t tell them what to do about it.

There's no reason to think I'm not, since I've lived in the same place in PA for a long time, have a drivers license and voter registration card. But I don't think I can check it at that site.

Am I missing something?

Thanks again.

I've been voting in the same precinct for 45 years. The name on my driver's license includes my middle name and my voter registration does not.

My problem is the name on my driver's license doesn't match with my voter registration. I'm filling out a new voter registration form that includes my middle name just to be safe.

Any state that is conducting shenanigans. It's really pathetic that it's had to come to this. "Those people" will do anything it takes to win.
