My scale told me a story I liked a week ago Sunday

I have been on a diet and have had some success. A week ago Sunday my scale told me I had lost 6 pounds in 3 days. Now I loved that story. I was very happy with that story. One problem. My scale was broken as I found out on Monday when I weighed in on a different scale which said I hadn't lost anything. Now, I have a new scale, and both it and the one at work says I lost 2 pounds last week.

Now, we have no idea right now who the people of the Democratic primary voters think won Tuesday's debate. The pundits think Hillary won, voodoo internet polls and skewed focus groups say Sanders did. I presume we will have some actual scientific polls on this matter soon enough. Then we can say who the people think won. Until then we are relying on a broken scale telling us stories we like.
