I honestly couldn't give the ghost of two shits who people thought won the debate.

To be honest, I sincerely thought everyone did fine. (Except maybe Webb, and I'd still pick him as the weakest Democrat over the least worst Republican--probably Kasich--at this point.)

You know the only thing I care about now? It's the fact that we're actually talking about the substance of what our candidates are saying as opposed to the vile spewing from the likes of Trump, Carson, Fiorina, Jeb and the rest of the clown car.

All this arguing over polls and pundits who "won" the Democratic debate is silliness. It's expected silliness, but silliness nonetheless.

I was proud of our party. I thought Hillary, Sanders, and O'Malley did great.

I'm still on the fence, and who "wins" a debate really will not sway me one way or another.

If Hillary's supporters would just admit they are wrong, we could move past this contentiousness.

Is that when you can smell it, but it is invisible and lurks around where the dog is sleeping?

Did you notice how the opening of the debate was like a sporting event? I almost expected Anderson to say, "And in this corner, weighing in at 142 pounds is candidate XYZ..." Politics has been turned into entertainment. And maybe the sadder commentary is that if it's not presented as entertainment, most Americans wouldn't tune in.

More People Watched NCIS than the Democratic Debate
http://fortune.com/2015/10/14/democratic-debate-tuesday-ratings/

snip...

Hosted by CNN TWX -0.10% and Facebook FB 1.80% , the first Democratic debate of the 2016 election season averaged 15.3 million total viewers, according to Nielsen’s numbers. That marked a new ratings record for Democratic debates, but it still fell well short of the GOP’s numbers.

The first GOP debate aired on Fox News FOX -0.14% in August and pulled in a record-breaking 24 million viewers. Last month’s follow-up on CNN pulled in roughly 23 million, which was a record for CNN.

The Dems’ ratings also couldn’t top the 15.7 million viewers who tuned in to watch the fourth episode of the season for CBS CBS -0.45% drama NCIS, starring actor Mark Harmon.

I mean, there were a few things that I might have agreed with Webb on, but in general I was disappointed with his responses.

Still, I am quite happy with all of their performance at the debate.
