was torn because she also dislikes Romney. She has her own business and is working hard to put $ away for retirement. She is 56 and Ryan's plans for SS and Medicare put the final nail in the coffin for her. What I think may be an interesting trend is that Independents like her might have sat out this election completely (don't like Obama, don't like Romney) but the Ryan choice really threatens them and may have jolted them out of their seats on the sidelines. Another interesting thing to me is that the Ryan changes to SS and Medicare for this woman's age group are much worse than the seem. This woman has been on a certain retirement savings track for years and it is based in part on what she has been led to believe will be available to her in SS benefits and Medicare coverage. Now the rug may get pulled and she may not have to time to make up the difference.

It's too late. The problem with Romney is that he never WAS a "leader" he was a goddamn used car salesman in the business world. A real sleazy one. He sold a bunch of clunkers and lemons and parted out what he couldn't sell.

He kissed ass with the big money in Washington and I can picture him genuflecting before the master of getting the most profit out of office,...The Snarl himself....

"Iran" and "Billions" became his goal from then on.

.....can't wait for a Ron Paul Revolution.....well, revolt, actually....

This could get fun.

It'll be the first modern convention in history to have security targeting it's own delegates. Hell, I half expect to see Romney's own hired goons on the floor waiting to strike.

Can you IMAGINE the fun of seeing their convention turn into a slugfest?

I mean,...come on!!! There's GOT to be a few boos at LEAST or those Ron Paul types might be in a street brawl out front. ESPECIALLY since all they've heard from the Romney campaign is "give it to me".

All of them said the Ryan pick is a deal breaker for nearly everyone that they have identified themselves as independents.

I also got to ask this guy if he backs Obama;

To say the least, he was a very entertaining guy - and a quiet supporter of Obama.

into definitely voting for Obama. (Whereas before I was still making up my mind between the Green and the Socialist, _if_ it seemed like Obama had a win in his pocket by the time the polls opened.)
