Where The Hawaii Senate Race Goes From Here

In the race for Hawaii's U.S. Senate seat, it's one person versus an entire party.

Yes, Linda Lingle will have the support of the minority Hawaii Republican Party in the general election and a whole lot of mainland money.

But her opponent, Mazie Hirono, also has the backing of national interests as well as the dominant Democratic Party of Hawaii.

As evident in competing press availabilities Sunday morning, it can seem a pretty lopsided battle line.

A Republican running for Senate in Hawaii in a Presidential year especially when a Democratic President that has ties to Hawaii is running............better luck next time Linda
