This is how to fight back against hypocritical projection from the Romney campaign.

During an interview on Fox News, host Chris Wallace noted that Romney had been accusing President Barack Obama of waging "a campaign of division and anger and hate."

"I'm not going to get lectured by Mitt Romney or anybody on the Romney campaign about the tone of this campaign," Gibbs explained. "This is a guy that's flown all over the country saying he's not sure whether the president believes in America."

&quot Romney is) auctioning off dinners with birther-in-chief, right-wing nut job Donald Trump, who still questions whether or not the president of the United States was born in America."

Then he should have his staff fact check his talking points before making such a fool of himself on camera. Oh, and Gibbs could add John Sununu to his list of nut job close advisors.

I like how Obama's surrogates don't shy away from Fox News. The viewership on that channel could otherwise stick their heads in the sand and pretend like Romney/Ryan shit doesn't stink. We need to speak in terms those simple minded fools understand.

I like that Gibbs doesn't take any shit here! We need more of this. People need to see that the Democrats do not back down. It's time to stand toe to toe with the Republican smear tactics!
