Hillary pulling in 80% of the African American vote in South Carolina...Bernie gets 8%.

Looks like Bernie's embrace of Cornel West in South Carolina turned out to be a total bust.

I can't imagine why. It's not like Cornel West has said anything controversial about Obama who's very popular with African Americans.

It's a good thing yall have something to be happy about, because the news everywhere else is bad for Hillary supporters.

Was just reading some posts from H> voters who were saying that ALL Bernie supporters are making them haz a sad.

Allow me to apologize for ALL Bernie supporters, because we know that we are ALL the same. Same that is in the eyes of prejudiced people. Bwahahaha

again and again all over Democratic Underground, Hillary Clinton supporters would vote for Bernie Sanders should he become the nominee, even though he's not a Democrat and never has been. I don't see an equal amount of Sanders supporters making that same claim should Hillary Clinton win the nomination. How about you, Robert? Will you vote for Hillary Clinton should Sanders lose the primary?

not voting would be unthinkable.

What a pity that some of our self-involved, privileged Puritopians are assisting in this group's disenfranchisement by promising not to exercise their own un-threatened right.

Bill Clinton was called the first black president by Toni Morrison for a reason. Blacks are a primary constituency of the Democratic party. I don't know if a very white guy from a very white part of the country is going to be able to overcome that in such a short period of time. This is not partisan, this is just math.

Also, the way many Sanders supporters talk about black Democrats is disrespectful and condescending in a way that is not going to help win that support. Some of the stuff I read, I just roll my eyes and think, good luck with that.....

campaign dog whistling to the others I have to say I could not care less what a bigoted lot of people like that think about anyone. I assume they would hold Bernie being Jewish against him, this is the State where Obama said he 'had to hire' hate preachers to win the hearts of hateful voters. Let's not play dumb here. Those who 'need to hear hate preaching' to vote for a candidate are not very likely to be open to a Jewish candidate. It's just fact.
They cheered for Donnie's attacks on LGBT down there. So fuck them.

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

YOUR COMMENTS

Unfounded accusations of anti-Semitism on the part of black voters in SC...among other things.

JURY RESULTS

A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Wed Nov 4, 2015, 08:27 PM, and voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT ALONE.

Explanation: We don't attack other democrats here
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Ordinary I would think something from this poster not worthy of a hide because most of his/her posts are rude and obnoxious. On the other hand, I am sick of reading her/his posts that denigrate everyone from every state and every Democrat from every state that doesn't agree with him/her.
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Wow! Holding an entire group of people accountable for the actions of a few. I think there's a word for that?
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I support Hillary. This is not a personal attack on a DU'er, and therefore it isn't actionable. We don't have to like what others say, but unless they are personal attacks, we shouldn't stop them from speaking. Argue in the thread, if you disagree.

Thank you.

Without a significant increase in support from non-white voters, the Super Tuesday primaries may be hard on Sanders. Texas has almost three times the number of delegates as Iowa and New Hampshire combined

Sanders is the most liberal candidate in the field; African Americans are the most conservative bloc in the party now that the white southern males have exodused. It really shouldn't surprise anybody.
