Who said, "Everything prior to this, is pre-season"?

'No, it wasn’t Joe Flacco, Peyton Manning, or Tom Brady. It was “mystery man” Martin O’Malley. I’ll get to the why, in a minute. But first, listen to him in the video at this link where, I suppose, apropos of his mystery man status, he is incorrectly identified as a “Republican”!?? ... Oh, well..at least they didn’t call him a “Democratic Socialist!” ..But it would have been nice if they’d called him a Democrat, because, make no mistake about it my friends, Martin O’Malley is the only life-long Democrat in this race.

...Speaking of Republicans, some of you probably already know that Hillary Clinton was a “Goldwater Girl” back in the day. No big deal, I guess. She was only in High School then. But did you know she was President of the Wellesley Young Republicans Club? Or that she was an intern for Gerry Ford, and she worked for the Nelson Rockefeller campaign in 1968? I supported her during the primaries in 2008, and even I didn’t know that until just recently. It’s probably not important; although it is sort of interesting, considering her strong support from Wall Street....But, I digress. The question is, why did Martin O’Malley say, “Everything prior to this is pre-season”?

I figure Martin O’Malley said that because he knows history, and because his mostly under the radar campaign has just recently begun to catch fire. Sure, his opponents will continue trying to put out that heart-felt fire and put him out of the race with theories and allegations that he was bad for Baltimore. But those are bogus. They don’t stand up to close scrutiny. In fact, Martin O’Malley was very good for Baltimore, and also for Maryland.

More and more Democrats are beginning to realize that Martin O’Malley is the best candidate in this field, with the most productive record, and the most detailed proposals. The people who know him best are writing great articles about him. Political pros are saying he could surprise the poll-driven pundits. College students are talking about him and his ideas. And day by day, his smart young team is enlisting more Iowans to support him in the first poll that really counts. Great endorsements are being announced with increasing frequency.

So, you know what? I think Martin O’Malley is right. This party is just getting started. May the best Democrat win!
And may many more Democrats get to know “mystery man” Martin O’Malley much better before they make their choice! Because, rebuilding the American Dream will depend on the decisions millions of Democrats will be making in the very near future.'
