2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumClinton is putting me to sleep.
She's about to weasel out of her horrible stance on the death penalty and even that can't keep my interest.
Stop killing prisoners.

(51,308 posts)Again, I'm undecided, but I'm pleased to have such good choices.
I think O'Malley was fantastic.

(7,576 posts)too bad you Bernie supporters are not....complain. complain. complain. They are ALL intelligent, well-spoken, educated, caring. You Bernie supporters are so closed minded you cannot see the value in ALL of our candidates. You should be should be ashamed of yourselves.
ALL of our candidates did an excellent job this evening!

Don't SHAME anyone for having a preference.
This is not a dictatorship, but a democracy, in PRIMARY season.

She has been in Public Service most of her adult life, but still no convictions to actual actions. No policy statements.
Notice she doesn't state:
As President of the United States I intend to____
Or I plan to___
No conviction. Any policy she supports came from others. (First market tested by Bernie.)

(14,313 posts)She could state her goals more clearly. There is some timidity behind all those phrases you mentioned. She comes across as being afraid to take a strong stand, at least to me. I don't think she is an inspiring speaker. Not much passion. Her story is inspiring, but she isn't. That's why she's my third choice.

(48,181 posts)better than I do? I didn't say she put you to sleep, I said she bored the crap out of me. This was not her best. She knocked out of the park in the first debate. Not this time, at least not for me.

(47,803 posts)That's the response I usually have to her.
She goes on and on in a cascade of verbiage....after which I think 'What did she just say?'

(3,431 posts)what she planned to do. She appealed to the
emotions of the AA community without committing
herself to any serious principles or plans.
But to be fair There is a stronger affinity between
Rachel and Bernie, and it showed.
Tweety on the other hand was terribly dismissive
of him, which is to be expected from a guy, who
applauded W for a long time.
