Chris Mathews: Bernie won tonight! Interest on Google highest for Bernie!

:large

No polls, maybe because Bernie won the viewer debate polls so overwhelmingly, they've decided to eliminate them.

Saves them from deleting them, as CNN did last time.

Bernie was on FIRE! The most authentic, the most real, honest and passionate.

He's GRUMPY! So are WE!

I like Grumpy right now. Enough of the slick, polished, smiling candidates we are so accustomed to.

They may have something to smile about, most of us do not!

Great format, but honesty shines through in any format.

Head and shoulders above the rest. No doubt.

He seemed relaxed. His sense of humor was turned on tonight - he DOES, really DOES have a sense of humor and he passionately made his case for why he is the best person to run this country.

Pointing out that Repubs are political cowards for suppressing votes just to win, really hit a nerve. A Constitutional Amendment will be needed to stop their election thievery!

Talking about his grand-kids being the joy of his life was so sweet. A rare personal moment. He was 'on' tonight and it showed.

Game on!

PEACE
LOVE

determine the winner by some sort of scientific osmosis.

People who watch then vote are 'unscientific'. And forget about people who donate money or participate in focus groups or media polls, all unscientific. Which is why the corporate media deletes its own polls!

But just so you are not confused in the future all of the above currently unscientific markers as to who won, would become scientfic IF the winner is determined NOT to be Sanders!

Sat Nov 7, 2015, 10:23 AM
Nov 2015

When people see that they have a choice, and learn about Sanders, it becomes a bad situation for the establishment's candidate.

This wasn't supposed to be a real race. The Clinton campaign was originally arrayed so as to to campaign against the Republican candidate (stay to the left of him while looking deadly on foreign policy). Having to actually sell all of that campaign's positions to a motivated, and aware, Democratic primary electorate is another matter. Secretary Clinton actually felt compelled to misquote herself regarding the TPP just to not have an awkward moment in the first debate. That came with a cost. Play the clip - throw up the actual quote.

And the Obama administration did work to overcome the Progressives/environmentalists issues with the TPP in the time since Secretary Clinton left office. It's arguably less crappy (though still wrong for our country, and the world) in its current form than was the nearly finished product she was pitching. I can't imagine the administration letting themselves be the fall guys in Secretary Clinton's narrative of events, or characterization of its current form. And the press will play that angle up.

over the entire process, shows just how out of touch they are with ordinary people. So hermetically sealed in the small bubble occupied by the wealthy now, they are absolutely convinced that outside that bubble the masses have been suitably propagandized by the media they own and are, to quote one of their main excuses for a 'journalist', Chuck Todd, 'puzzled' by Bernie's incredible success.

In a way I am glad they are so 'out of it' because they were not prepared, that is how arrogant they are.

But now they are scared, which is why we are seeing all the Paid-For talking points, and we didn't need the 'confession' to recognize them, because their plans have been turned upside down, temporarily anyhow.

And they should be. The people are very ANGRY and several times now over the past number of years they have been warned. OWS, two midterms and now Bernie.

I don't underestimate the power they have to defeat the people in this election, but they can't stop the momentum as more and more people wake up to what is going on and who is responsible.

Yes, Bernie won...but miles and miles, but the "libral" MSM is not gotta put out the truth!

Of course grumpy is good, and let's hope it is a prelude to the creation/formation of a collective "Network Moment" directed at the powers that be.

He won every focus group opinion, every Media generated poll of actual VIEWERS, all indicators that can be used to judge the winner.

But the Corp Media deleting their own polls, were alone in declaring him the winner. And of course the 'scientific' polls that asked 71% of people who did not see the debate, probably never heard of Sanders, who won.

Othere than that, Chris Mathews was vastly in the majority re the first debate.
