Sanders showed he's capable of a refreshing self-effacement.

Why anyone would bother to cavil about your use of the word "great" was where I was going.

The way you piss all over every positive thread makes me wonder if you have some serious issues that have nothing to do with Bernie.

She apologized. Her supporters are okay with that as long as she apologizes. I don't care it shows me what kind of mind she has with or without the apology.

I'm guessing he brought that up because when he was on Ellen she asked him if he wore boxers or briefs. It was such an off the wall question it probably stuck with him.

And I'm sure Bernie was trying to poke fun at the pathetic questions of "celebrity" interviews vs the substantive questions (like with Thom Hartmann during "Lunch with Bernie&quot in other interviews. That is how I took it.

Sanders supporters launch ‘Bernie’s Briefs’ underwear line
By Bradford Richardson

Fans of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) can now “support briefs, not billionaires.”

Vermonters backing the Sanders presidential campaign have launched Bernie’s Briefs, a line of underwear embroidered with the candidate’s face and “Feel the Bern” slogan on the rear.

Comedians Larry David and Ellen DeGeneres may have inspired the fashion statement, after Sanders revealed to DeGeneres on her show last month that he preferred briefs to boxers.

Then, in his impersonation of Sanders on “Saturday Night Live,” David took up the underwear theme.

“I own one pair of underwear, that’s it,” David said. “Some of these billionaires, they’ve got three, four pairs.”

Sanders said he thought the underwear line, which is unaffiliated with his campaign, was hilarious.

“It cracks me up, it’s unbelievable,” he told local radio station WCAX earlier this week.

The underwear, which comes in pairs for men and women, is available for $15, with 10 percent of the proceeds going to the Yellow Ribbon Fund to benefit veterans.

“Bernie is known as a champion of veterans so we wanted to give (some of the proceeds) to an organization that he would appreciate the money going towards,” one of the creators of Bernie’s Briefs, Todd Bailey, told CNN on Thursday.

Could be his ridiculous line of "Bernie Briefs" he is now selling. Ew.
