The cool dude who walks the walk and the well, rich... you fill in your own blank... (I'm not going to risk a hide for someone alerting saying I called Hillary something I did not, but was attempting to explain how I felt others were characterizing her).

That's not a candidate. That is a movie pitch. Are we voting for a movie script or a president? I am reminded of those on DU who praised Obama for running the "perfect campaign" in 2008. What the fuck is the perfect campaign (besides one that wins)? What kind of laws does the "perfect campaign" sign or veto? What kind of executive decisions does the "perfect campaign" make?

The "perfection" of a campaign matters only to those who use their political opinions in order to increase their own prestige. Think Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins declaring "Gore the same as Bush" in 2000 in order to sell themselves as edgy, hip.
