doesn't make Gallup seem credible.

2. To deflect any charges of voter fraud. They could simply suggest that they had Obama up in all

their polls, so any claim that fraud occurred would be unfounded.

Rasmussen, like Fox News, is just another propaganda tool in the Republican quiver. They need to goose Obama's popularity in order to justify showing him ahead of rMoney right now. Why do they want to show Obama ahead at this moment? So the "bounce" that rMoney gets from the repub convention appears that much greater - tee-ing up for the mainstream media a story about rMoney's fabulous "momentum!"

7. Gallup's track record of late is pretty bad

They finished 17th out of 23 in accurately predicting the 2008 election. I think they don't think minorities and women vote.

10. Gallup has been the worst pollster for Obama this year

They are the only one to show him behind day after day or tied with Romney.

He rarely has a lead in Gallup anymore.

I wonder what's going on? Even Rasmussen has had better numbers for Obama.

Hopefully their poll is an outlier this year.

11. I bet they over-sample Repubs. That's what they did for their "pro-life" vs. pro-choice

poll which concluded, "For the first time, 50% of the country is 'pro-life'." And every RWer cites that poll when talking about abortion.
