Related: About this forumPoll: More Americans interested in Ryan's RNC 2012 speech than Romney's
Is this not kind of embarrassing for a Presidential nominee?
8/27/12 7:29 PM EDT
Slightly more Americans are interested in hearing Rep. Paul Ryan speak at the Republican National Convention than Mitt Romney and both politicians generate less interest than the GOP platform itself, according to a poll.
Forty-six percent of respondents want to hear the vice presidential nominee, two percentage points more than the 44 percent who want to hear presidential nominee, a Pew Research Center poll found. In 2008, 52 percent said they were interested in hearing GOP nominee John McCain speak.
But more voters, 52 percent, are interested in learning more about the GOP platform than hearing either speech. (POLITICO discovered last week that a draft copy of the platform had been posted online before the Republican National Committee pulled it down.)

It would be like watching paint dry. I am not surprised by this, same thing happened to McCain in 2008. I don't think Ryan will light the world on fire either though. His personality is rather morbid and dull too.
