How will the pundits narrate the Democratic convention? I'm wondering about Scar's show

in particular, I rarely watch the others. I don't concern myself too much from Martin on into the evening but MJ is going to have to be very creative. You know the Dems are going to be creative and slick. They will be professional and smooth, great speakers, the rock the rafter appearance of Michelle and the other speakers popular within the party.

How will the Chuckie Toads, Politico guys and the regular panel narrate the goings on. Mika will most likely be positive but Joey Scar is going to have problems. I would hope the panel will consist of Democrats who are articulate and know how to get their points across. I'll be looking forward to their spins and comparisons to the nightmare of Tampa in the coming days.

1. I've been thinking about that, too! The Dem convention will have so many women who are

strong, brilliant and attractive that it will be hard to put them down. Plus some wonderful male Dems including the gorgeous Martin O'Malley and of course Obama himself.

Hard to beat smart and lovely...and coming right after fat, snarling and stupid it will be no contest!

4. Nobody outside the beltway and a few masochistic DU'ers watches that show

first of all it runs from 3 to 6 AM here on the west coast and only a few idiots like me are up. So maybe 25% of the country doesn't even know it's on.

From what I've seen (and I've only watched smatterings of it) it's better than the show that preceded it with the idiot that sat there in his cowboy hat, mumbling and drooling (his name escapes me) but only marginally better.

I don't think anybody really cares about the opinions of a few soft, pudgy pundits who spend their whole lives telling us what people in the "heartland" are thinking without ever having spoken to one or even going to the heartland.

5. I purposely avoided MJ this morning

I couldn't stomach his rah-rahs about how dynamic and wonderful the Rep speakers were. I also missed the convention last night. I fell asleep, only to wake up around midnight to catch a re-run of Rachel Maddow accusing Christie of being a selfish pig in his speech. I also caught Tweetie likening Mitt Romney's watching the convention to Prince Charles condescendingly watching natives from New Guinea doing some tribal dance. I mean really! Don't all of us already know that the Rep convention is just a big wad of lies?

Mika and Joe were down in the dumps. They knew how bad everything was last night and couldn't pretend otherwise. I felt like doing a happy dance...

So glad I'm usually out the door and on my way to work at 550 AM. Except for days like today when I sleep in. Even then, I won't watch Morning Joke.

Mika was sitting on a bar downing half a plastic cup of Grey Goose Vodka

So I imagine things didn't go very well the previous 3 hours

9. I'm betting they have Dan Senor on the entire week to counterpoint

As is, I'm not quite sure how they justify showcasing someone from the Romney campaign about every other day when I rarely see anyone from the Obama side on with any frequency.

I was glad John Heilman (sp?) didn't try to kiss his ass the way Mark Halperin did when he quoted some of his favorite conservatives as saying Ann's speech was the best they ever heard. Dan Senor is just a total dink. A true mouthpiece hack. I can't believe he's married to Campbell Brown, although she's kind of a dink, too.
