Yes, of course, and we're all looking forward to the elections.

But, we're not just interested in waiting to see how they will turn out. Most of us have a deep, abiding interest in politics and want to observe the entire process. We're eagerly waiting to see how the early primaries and caucuses turn out, and how the March 1 Super Tuesday ones do. We're all even more eager to vote next November, and most of us will be up late watching returns until the results are clear.

Polls, though, let us watch the progress of the campaigns and see how things are going for the candidate we support and their opponents. It's politics. That's sort of the favorite thing around DU.

Of course people post poll results. They're fascinating to people who follow politics closely. So DUers post the results here. Why anyone is surprised about that is something I can't understand.
