question Is Jeb wobbling or playing rope a dope?

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by TexasTowelie (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

Both are boxing terms, wobbling of course means someone is one good punch from being ko'ed, rope a dope is when you pretend you are wobbling, only to come out swinging when your opponent has already exhausted their energy.

It is easy to say that Rubio, Carson and Trump are eating his lunch, however, my concern is that we assume jeb is dead, when his family and backers show they are all too willing to keep him in the race. I fear that perhaps we may be like the teenagers in horror flicks who think they have killed the monster, only for him to revive and kill them all.

Your two cents?

Kinda like leading from the back of the pack .... waiting for people who hate him to love him again ...

Imagine the enthusiasm when voters try to get warmed up over Jeb; the guy they didn't like better than the two crazy fucks ...

I can see him now, during his acceptance speech at the convention "You suckers are stuck with me now !"

Hah !

Trump goes 3rd-party, as he promised. JEB! comes alive and is steered by RNC into top candidate at their convention (promises are made to Rubio), gets the nod, and runs the GOP into defeat. And, no GOPer wants to be seen with Dumpster -- ever again.

and his heart is not in it. I think he thought he would quickly emerge as the front runner, the sensible adult in a pack of extreme fools, with tons of money behind him. I think he also underestimated the baggage that comes with his name. Then along came Trump - a ridiculous force to be reckoned with and his vision of this being a quick race faded. He doesn't have a clue how to get on top of this freak show. Just my two cents...

Jeb! is getting his clock cleaned
and his handlers will throw in the
towel soon if this beating continues.
There's no getting saved by the bell.
