Sanders upcoming reception so big had to be moved to nearby park

(I recently received an invitation to a Sanders event this Monday in a decently-sized hotel in Manchester, NH. It wasn't long before I received this correction) :

We sent you a note on Monday inviting you to join us for the JJ Jamboree this Sunday. The response has been so strong that we need a new, more open space for our Jamboree! We're now at Victory Park just a few blocks away from the Radisson Hotel.

We need all of our supporters to join us throughout the day to rally and cheer on Bernie.

RSVP Here:

JJ Jamboree
Sunday, November 29th
11 am to 3:30 pm
Victory Park
On Pine Street, between Amherst St. and Concord St.
Manchester, NH
RSVP here

Parking is available at the Victory Parking Garage (25 Vine Street) and throughout downtown.

We're going to have a fun day with lots of visibility, bands, games for the family, refreshments and hot beverages, and a march over to the Radisson to show our support for Bernie!

As we said on Monday, the NHDP JJ dinner is an important event, which Bernie will use to outline why we need a political revolution that takes on the billionaires and puts working families first. So let's all pitch in to make sure we have the best presence outside the NHDP JJ. We already know Bernie will bring the house down when he speaks.

In solidarity,

Kurt Ehrenberg
Political Director
New Hampshire for Bernie

...both Sanders and Clinton had comprable crowd numbers. Both candidates had about 2,000 supporters.

Clinton however, had Katy Perry perform on stage before she came on. She also had Bill Clinton speak.

You would have thought that Clinton's crowd would have overshadowed Bernie's but it didn't.

Got me wondering what Clinton's crowd numbers would have been without Katy Perry?

Will Clinton will try the same tactic in NH--having a pop superstar headline for her (and Bill too).

but they really are not predicative. The media in 1972 noted that McGovern's crowds were larger than Nixon's.
