Hillary is readying the DNC for the General Election fight to come

Hillary Clinton Fortifies Ties and Fund-Raising With Democratic Committee
---------

Trying to build up her arsenal for a general election, Hillary Clinton’s campaign is asking donors to write big-money checks to the Democratic National Committee while taking a greater interest in how it is performing its duties.

In recent weeks, Mrs. Clinton’s campaign aides have started to scrutinize what have historically been core functions of the party committee, some of which atrophied under President Obama, according to people briefed on the reviews.

The reviews have been undertaken at the request of Mrs. Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, who has taken a particular interest in how the research and communications operations are functioning, according to the people briefed, who asked for anonymity to discuss private deliberations. Among the questions her team is looking at, gingerly, are staffing and dexterity in combating an increasingly unpredictable Republican field.

The matter has taken on new urgency as the campaign has laid out its priorities for where donors should direct big checks. Mrs. Clinton’s operation is asking first for donations to the campaign, then to the party committee and, finally, to Priorities USA Action, the “super PAC” that is planning to support Mrs. Clinton with television ads.

The pivot to the GE continues. Glad to she that she is getting the party apparatus in shape for 2016.

Including those functions that "atrophied" in the past 8 years.

In other words, she is beginning the process of changing it from what it has been.

They've already tilted the playing field about 45 degrees in her favor with their bullshit debate policies.

And they're so inept they'll never be able to give her the coattails she lacks, so in the unlikely event she actually gets elected, she'll have overwhelming republican majorities in both houses.

Her election would be the end of the Democratic party as we know it, so there really won't be any need to have a DNC.

My money and support goes to my local and statewide candidates. The feckless DNC can suck it. Nor would I trust any "party - building" done by Clinton or her ilk.

Especially after seeing her husband come to Arkansas in 2010 and campaign against a liberal Democrat in the Democratic primary, and then seeing his chosen candidate get her ass kicked in the general election.

Unless you're a fan of Reagan style policy. Obama is a self-described moderate Repubican and Hillary is extremely close to him on policy. Except Obama said he wouldn't have voted for the IWR.

So no, the party won't be fine if you want it to get back to true Democratic principles and ideals. It has already strayed from those and nominating Clinton would only cement that. But that's not the worst thing that will happen. She will most likely lose the general election and then the whole country is screwed. Of course we're screwed if she were to win it as well since it would cement corporations deciding our elections for us and owning our government. And of course we'd get more 'free trade' deals, most likely the TPP and worse.

We NEED to nominate and elect President Sanders. It's our only hope at this time.
