Jeb Bush: I will 'whup' Hillary Clinton

Washington (CNN)GOP presidential hopeful Jeb Bush says if given the chance, he will "whup" Hillary Clinton.

Bush spoke the Republican Jewish Coalition presidential forum in Washington on Thursday, where all GOP candidates were scheduled to speak.

He got an enthusiastic reception from the audience, many of whom have supported his campaign.

"Should I win the nomination, I will take it to Hillary Clinton and I will whup her," Bush declared, to applause.

Bush said the next president should "have a servant's heart" and not "push people down" -- a veiled swipe at front-runner Donald Trump, with whom Bush has repeatedly sparred on the trail.

He said the president should be a "person with a heart, a person with a brain and a person with a backbone," like himself.

Even a dim bulb like JEB! should realize anything that sounds like violence against a woman is a stupid thing to say.

4. Your take is interesting... It's early on the West Coast so I didn't think of it yet.

I was thinking along the lines that here is the brother of a president, the son of another one, the grandson of a prominent senator, and the governor of the third most populous state in the nation polling at 3% in his own party's primary.

BTW, after Bush Pere debated Geraldine Ferraro he told a bunch of longshoremen the day after the debate "he kicked a little ass."

5. No doubt about it. If hillary gets the nomination a republican will be president

If Hillary loses the G E I will eat dirt and put it on youtube under "Man Loses Bet" as long as the person taking my wager promises to to do the same if she wins. If anybody thinks it's false bravado they can send me a private message and we can set up a method of confirming my true identity.

Have you seen where you are in the polling?

First, take on the well over a dozen opponents on your side, then we can talk. It's hard to tell. There are so many.

See ya then... Or not. Buh-bye!

I think he would have a better chance against Clinton than a lot of the repubs. I hope Trump gets the nomination because he wouldn't have a chance against Clinton or Sanders.

14. He is just expressing the misogyny..

...that is at the heart of much of the vitriol against Hillary Clinton. From the days when she initially kept her own name and said she did not bake cookies, and dared not to be a traditional wallflower First Lady, to the days when she started to go into politics for her self, the GOP and even some Democrats have expressed their discomfort with her as a strong woman in overt and covert ways. She has been depicted as a ball-breaker, a witch, a deceiving woman, you name it. One can easily hear echoes of the medieval handbook on the witch hunts, the Malleus Maleficarum (a not-so-fun read in historical/hysterical misogyny which I recommend for a bit of historical knowledge). It is the rhetoric that leads to violence against women. So yes, "whupping" is what you do if this is how you think about a woman.

Disgusting little man.
