Right-Wing Wall St. Financiers Launch Big Money Attack on ClintonSuper PAC ad funded by wealthy conservatives with ties to Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush.
By Cady Zuvich / The Center for Public Integrity December 10, 2015
Hedge fund managers and investors, together worth billions of dollars, are bankrolling a little-known super PAC that on Tuesday unleashed attack ads against Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton.
Running the operations is Brian O. Walsh, president of Future45. In 2010, Walsh directed a $26 million campaign at dark money nonprofit American Action Network an effort that succeeded in helping Republicans gain control of the House. Walsh left the American Action Network in January.
Weiser, former chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, is chairman of Future45.

(30,058 posts)I am not against Wall Street and I am not against regulations for Wall Street. We do not need to return to status quo with reinstating Glass Stegall. It is also RW attacks hoping HRC will nit be the nominee and the GOP will not have a strong opponent to run against in the GE.

(10,495 posts)They are not stupid and most really want her in charge. They know the Republican field has no one capable of the job and Hillary is very capable. She is their proven friend so they have to appear to be against her just like she has to tell them to "Cut that out!"

(30,058 posts)do not want her to beef up Dodd Frank and invoke the Volker Rule since it would stop their games. Hoping they have a soft candidate running as DNC nominee who is not going to curb their games and they can do whatever they want with a Republican such as Rubio in office.

Wall Street wants to help Clinton by providing some distance for her. Not to complicated to understand if you don't have blinders on. Hillary''s biggest weakness is her ties to Wall Street. Why is it outlandish to suspect that they would try to help her create distance?
By the way, no need to be ugly just because you don't agree. Hope you have a great day!

(30,058 posts)so more failures. If Sanders was wanting to bust up the banks he would be for beefing up Dodd Frank and invoking the Volker Rule. If the banks start to fail then they would be broken up.

The h supporters also like this, they would admit if they were to be honest. And some can be candid about this. I have seen it on this site. It is an election, afterall.

(13,877 posts)Most don't know exactly what the Oligarghy Bernie talks about and of which Hillary is a deeply indebted and committed part of...
Oligarchy (from Greek ὀλιγαρχία (oligarkhía); from ὀλίγος (olígos), meaning "few", and ἄρχω (arkho), meaning "to rule or to command" [1][2][3] is a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. These people might be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, education, corporate, religious or military control. Such states are often controlled by a few prominent families who typically pass their influence from one generation to the next, but inheritance is not a necessary condition for the application of this term.
Throughout history, oligarchies have often been tyrannical, relying on public obedience or oppression to exist. Aristotle pioneered the use of the term as a synonym for rule by the rich,[4] for which another term commonly used today is plutocracy.
Throw in SCOTUS, and it's pretty far down the road in this direction, and in some ways, already there.
I'm pretty sure that this is why Bernie is not touting some "foreign policy". He has a lot to learn once he gets there and as Obama discovered, it ain't pretty. OTOH, our Hillary knows it very, very well.

(30,481 posts)Is when the "left" goes around yelling that she is a corporatist. People hear that and then read stories like this. They quickly understand that she is a heavy regulation capitalist just like a majority of Democrats. Clinton doesn't pay a dime for the excellent dichotomy presented to the voters by WS and the "left."
