5. Many would have failed in Barack Obama's shoes. The pressure he is

under is sooo enormous, and the huge number of butt-heads he has to deal with each day. IMO some in the democratic party have not been very helpful either in helping him. I find Obama to be an amazing individual!!!

But I had no idea. I didn't think they would let the country go to hell just to make him look bad. I learned a lot about republicans since than. I thought they were evil and corporate whores, but I didn't think they would go that far.
Pres Obama has did a lot in spite of them. Could you imagine what we could do if they weren't there. I think our reps finally realize that. If given a second chance they will use it.

Obama is still cool in spite of all the hate. Had a little convention-watching party at my house with some friends and my 25 year-old daughter called and asked if she could come over. She brought along three other very nice young women of about the same age. I sort of cringed that they would put a damper on things but they were more enthusiastic than us old farts! Obama is still cool to young women who vote.
