You have to ask yourself why would someone, anyone

with $250,000,000.00 and without a positive societal vision/passion want the job of President of the United States?

Perhaps prestige (personal and religious), power, greed and a mentality to manipulate people for personal gain and pleasure? I know sick.

I would probably have one of my friendly investment firms
short the dollar right before one of my speeches, because
if he gets in, every time he opens his mouth the dollar
is going to fall.

4. Narcissistic personality disorder
Sun Sep 9, 2012, 11:02 AM
Sep 2012

Symptoms of this disorder include:

Reacting to criticism with anger, shame, or humiliation
Taking advantage of others to reach their own goals
Exaggerating their own importance, achievements, and talents
Imagining unrealistic fantasies of success, beauty, power, intelligence, or romance
Requiring constant attention and positive reinforcement from others
Becoming jealous easily
Lacking empathy and disregarding the feelings of others
Being obsessed with oneself
Pursuing mainly selfish goals
Trouble keeping healthy relationships
Becoming easily hurt and rejected
Setting goals that are unrealistic
Wanting "the best" of everything
Appearing unemotional

The symptoms of Narcissistic personality disorder can be similar to the traits of individuals with strong self-esteem and confidence; differentiation occurs when the underlying psychological structures of these traits are considered pathological. Narcissists have such an elevated sense of self-worth that they value themselves as inherently better than others. Yet, they have a fragile self-esteem and cannot handle criticism, and will often try to compensate for this inner fragility by belittling or disparaging others in an attempt to validate their own self-worth. It is this sadistic tendency that is characteristic of narcissism as opposed to other psychological conditions affecting level of self-worth. [4]

I have heard this desire compared to JFK becoming the first Catholic president.

The topic about which we must not speak.

"A belief ingrained in Mormon culture and passed down through generations by church leaders that the day would come when the U.S. Constitution would 'hang like a thread as fine as a silk fiber' and the Mormon priesthood would save it..."

"In this scenario, Romney’s candidacy is part of the eternal plan and the candidate himself is fulfilling the destiny begun in what the church calls the 'pre-existence.'”

Blame George Romney. Al Gore's parents were not any different, though he didn't always appreciate being raised that way. I don't think his heart is really in it, that is why Romney comes off as so detached.

He railed against two New York City candidates for city council.

He asked why two guys that were millionaires would spend so much money to get a job that paid only $30,000 a year.

His answer was that they planned on getting millions of dollars of benefits for their respective companies through votes on that council.
