Bernie Sanders: Trump is ‘GETTING NERVOUS’

PRESS RELEASE

Sanders: Trump is ‘Getting Nervous’

DECEMBER 27, 2015

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Quoting Donald Trump’s assertion that wages in the United States are “too high,” U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Sunday said Trump’s attempt to back away from his own words shows that the Republican front-runner is “getting nervous that working families are catching on” to his views.

“Donald Trump says that I’m a liar because I said he believes wages in America are too high. Really?” Sanders said in response to Trump’s assertion on Twitter on Sunday. “This is what CNN reported last Nov. 12,” Sanders added. “Trump insisted on Thursday that the U.S. must keep wages low in order to compete with other countries, one day after he dug in on his assertion that ‘wages are too high’ in America. ‘Whether it’s taxes or wages, if they’re too high we’re not going to be able to compete with other countries,’ Trump said Thursday morning on Fox News. Trump first said he believes wages are ‘too high’ during Tuesday night’s Republican debate.”

“It appears that Mr. Trump is getting nervous that working families are catching on that his policies represent the interests of the billionaire class against almost everyone else. He refuses to support raising the minimum wage. He believes wages are too high and he wants to provide hundreds of billions of dollars in tax breaks to the very richest families in America. That’s not an agenda that ‘makes America great.’ It’s just another Republican billionaire wanting to make the very rich richer at the expense of working families.”

This is the quickly becoming the most interesting election season i can remember.. and i've
seen quite a few.

The longer this Bernie/Trump dust-up goes on, the more I wonder what must be going through
Hillary's mind, watching Bernie engage Trump on real issues, like wages, income
inequality, etc. and getting him on record as wanting to lower all "little people's" wages.

Issues are being aired that rarely get any discussion.

Bill is rumored to have "encouraged" The Donald to even be in this race in the
first place, which I find exceedingly fascinating .. wonder if he's having any regrets
about now?

Nervous? BS winning the Dem Nom is the only way Trump will win the full backing of RNC and Koch bros. The cash he'll have at his disposal will be unimaginable. The only thing that will fully unite the right is running against the far left

..that way back in the 2008 primaries, the republican's 'Hillary oppo-research' was NEVER used. They had their files prepared, idling and ready to go but the primary election of Barack Obama put a major damper in their plans......NOBODY has seen the material they have on Hillary and Bill since it never made daylight in 2008.........buckle your seats, because if she is the Democratic nomination, we will lose this election!!

Elections did NOT used to be one of them. But thanks to how Citizens United has ironically
inspired Bernie to go directly to 2.3 + voters who are more than happy to fund his campaign,
elections may actually become people-powered and not corporate-owned.

this is a great strategy even if he doesn't and we don't know for sure who they will nominate. Not only does it keep the nomination process cleaner in terms of the intra-party mudslinging it keeps us focused on the issues that are important to Democrats.
