I feel like the tide is turning. Slowly, like the tide does. First it will ebb, then go slack...

and go in the other direction.

Fucking A, I can feel it in my bones (and my reconstructed knee).

Support for Hillary rises to its highest level (high tide).
Support level falls over several days and weeks, revealing the intersupport zone (ebb tide).
Then support stops falling (low tide).

Next cycle... a rising Bernie, peaking at jusssssst the right time.

...I seem to read a lost of posts from Sanders people who "feel" things changing. I'll stick with hard data, which still points to a respectable performance in the early States but no apparent expansion beyond 30-35% nationwide.

5. I don't think it's a natural tide but one with many snags.

The Great Depression woke up people, but the very rich have learned their lessons and have become more sophisticated . They want what they have always wanted, complete control over everything, and it is a harder fight now.

I felt that ebb and flow for years but it's like overcoming a natural disaster. I hope you are right, but I believe it's a long haul. The right wing, and their ability to separate us with things like racism are very much entrenched.

but evidence of it is everywhere. Bumper stickers, yard signs, word of mouth, online groups, internet polls, huge rallies with waiting lines that go on for blocks -- just keeps growing and growing. It's a people's movement.

And then if Bernie wins Iowa, the race changes overnight. Just look at the 2004 and 2008 races if you think otherwise. Bernie has the momentum.

With Bernie, not so much.
