Hillary Clinton Sets Up A Fight With Bernie Sanders Over Paid Leave

But the real contrast is with Republicans, who oppose paid leave guarantees altogether.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Thursday offered new details about her plan to make sure all workers can take time off, with pay, in order to care for a newborn or sick relative.

In so doing, she drew two contrasts -- a small one with Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, who would finance his own paid leave proposal differently, and a big one with the Republican presidential candidates, who wouldn’t guarantee paid leave at all.

What it boils down to is that I believe Sanders will introduce/support legislation, and I believe Hillary utters campaign blather, and will be covered with the handy dandy "well, Congress would not let her do it anyway" excuse.

Maybe the time she spent with Walmart and Goldman Sachs is what you are referring to.

Her negatives far outweigh her positives, and this isn't even counting the families who lost members due to her pro-war agenda (can you name a war she didn't like? I can't.).

P.S. Spell check is your friend.

In a horsetrade with Republicans who will control at least one house of Congress, they are about a zillion times more likely to accept a 0.2% raise on workers than a 0.001% raise on the wealthy.
