(9,760 posts)In particular, there is reason to think that pollsters engage in a behavior known as herding, in which they announce results that are similar to those of other recent polls. Why would they do this? In part, because its safer; they fear being wrong. Pollsters are judged by their results, and in an era of close elections, expectations of accuracy are high.

(13,877 posts)are...failed capitalism. It's common to have a severance package for the executives. And, despite everything, it was for the specific Democratic value of helping people make their lives better. For shame.
Now we know that Bernie has an affection for a Capitalist wannabe. Maybe there is another layer underneath that scruffy crumdegeon ... more toward the Democratic than just the Socialist.
